For over 20 years, the Association has supported annual visits by groups of university age students from the Lycée Montagne-Libourne. They come from all over France and as far away as New Zealand to study all aspects of wine production and marketing.

The students are hosted in local homes and have a programme of excursions and activities, which include visits to major cities such as Oxford and Cardiff, as well as vineyards and breweries. They usually end their stay at the London Wine Fair. The highlight of their educational trip is to prepare and present a professional wine tasting in English to an audience. Lately this has become a joint event between the Twinning Association and Friends of Wellsway School.
